SubstanceReactions

A substance's reactions, localised and packed.

Explained in Chemistry.

interface SubstanceReactions
import type { SubstanceReactions } from '@driftengine/chemistry';

In depth

Species are local indices into the substance's own set, so a shell's composition is a dense run of the few species it can actually hold rather than a row over all sixty-eight. Reactants and products are CSR, the layout physics/faces.ts uses and for the same reason: traversal allocates nothing.

Properties

countreadonlynumber
speciesCountreadonlynumber
molarMassreadonlyFloat64Arraykg/mol for each local species.
cpAreadonlyFloat64ArrayJ/(kg·K) at the standard state, and its rise per kelvin, for each local species.
cpBreadonlyFloat64Array
minTemperaturereadonlyFloat64ArrayK below and above which each reaction does not run, and the band the lower gate opens over.
maxTemperaturereadonlyFloat64Array
gateWidthreadonlyFloat64Array
transportLimitreadonlyFloat64ArrayThe ceiling transport puts on each reaction in still air, per second. Zero means none.

enthalpyreadonlyFloat64ArrayJ per unit extent, derived by Hess's law at registration.
tablereadonlyreadonly (RateTable | null)[]null for an instant reaction: the clamp is its only limit.
