In depth
In time, not per frame, so a 144 Hz display adapts exactly as fast as a 60 Hz one: the
remaining distance after any number of steps is 2^(−elapsed / halfLife) of what it was, however
the elapsed time was cut up. A half-life of zero is a cut to the target. Both exposures must be
positive, which is what an exposure is.
